With three simple ingredients you can transform fresh lemons into a versatile condiment.

Ingredients

Lemons  Sugar Pectin

Marmalade calls for using some of the fruit's zest. Use a vegetable peeler to remove the yellow part of the peel and thinly slice.

Prepare the Lemons

Cook the fruit pulp and lemon zest, then add the sugar. 

Making the Marmalade

Fill jars, affix lids and rings, and process in a water bath canner. 

Canning the Marmalade

As they cool, you’ll hear the little “tink” sound of the jars sealing. Those sealed jars will be shelf-stable for up to 18 months.
